Palliative care
Palliative care is the provision of medical and psychological aid to the patients with a terminal illness, and also the support for their relatives. The main task of palliative care is to relieve suffering of a patient by the effect of elimination of pain syndrome and relevant care. Our experienced specialists are in attendance of the patient in the last days of his/her life and give the possibility to spend this time with dignity and without pain.
The duration of palliative aid depends on the condition and needs of the patient and may last from several days to several years. The amount of medical care is determined individually for each patient based on his/her general condition.
