Priority areas in clinical practice:

  • Complex congenital and genetic ocular pathologies.
  • Ophthalmic genetic.

Medical fields of interest

“I am interested in ENT pathologies, neurology, gastroenterology, because these areas are closely related to ophthalmology.”

Trends in ophthalmic genetic

“Ophthalmic genetic is flourishing in the developed countries, but in Ukraine it is in its infancy. But I am convinced: it is the wave of the future!”

Specifics of working with patients

“Congenital and genetic ocular diseases are complicated pathologies that require great doctor’s attention, moral support of not only a patient but his or her whole family, significant and sustained efforts on the part of a sick person, his family and his doctor. The specific nature of doctor's work in case of an ophthalmogenetic pathology involves indispensability of attentive examining of not only a child, but also the patient’s family members, and genealogical table compilation.”
