Other areas of professional interests
‘A doctor should be interested in all branches of medicine. I have a lot of pregnant women who suffer from diabetes, asthma, epilepsy or thyroid problems, so if I do not understand these diseases, I cannot advise them and manage pregnancy.’
A piece of advice for patients
‘Do not get sick and visit gynecologist regularly. Disease prevention is the best treatment!’
‘For 99 % of my patients are pregnant women, I would like to advise them to learn not to perceive pregnancy like a disease, but as the most beautiful period of life. Take this period easier, more positively and, in no case, be afraid to go to a doctor.’
About work
‘We, doctors, have to cure a patient, no matter what.’
‘A good doctor can satisfy his patient in full both morally and physically. I think the main criteria for assessment of this concept is good reviews and recommendation of patients.’
‘Being a doctor is certainly a vocation. If you feel it’s not your vocation - you simply cannot work.’
‘Growing up professionally is important and necessary. Domestic doctors should “keep a finger on the pulse” and try not to concede in qualification to the best doctors in Europe. I always attend advanced training courses – I visited so much of them that there is no place to enter them in my CV! This is laparoscopy and colposcopy, ultrasound diagnostics and all kinds of screenings.’
Hobbies and Interests
‘I believe that a healthy lifestyle shall be a priority for everyone. If you are active and healthy you will enjoy both leisure and work. I really love to travel, discover new places and meet new people. I actively improve my English skills. Self-development and continuous progress are my rules for life.’
